Chloe Rakauskas has had a love for dogs for as long as she can remember. Growing up with dogs her entire life, she quickly learned the value of companionship, responsibility, and the unconditional love that animals bring into our lives. That lifelong passion naturally led her to pursue opportunities working with and advocating for animals whenever possible.
She is currently a senior at the University of New Hampshire, majoring in Recreational Management and Policy with a focus in Program and Event Management. Through her studies, she has developed strong skills in planning, organization, communication, and community engagement — all of which she brings to her role at Soul Dogs.
As the Community Outreach and Event Planning Intern, she works to build meaningful connections between Soul Dogs and the community. From coordinating events to supporting outreach initiatives, she is passionate about creating opportunities that bring people and their dogs together. She believes that strong community relationships are essential to promoting responsible pet ownership and ensuring dogs receive the care, advocacy, and voice they deserve.
Being part of Soul Dogs allows her to combine her academic background with her lifelong love for dogs. She is excited to continue learning, growing, and contributing to a mission that puts the well-being of dogs first.
